I got interested in crypto-currencies last year when I was looking for an alternative to PayPal for receiving and making payments. I took several courses on Udemy and Skillshare to learn more about Bitcoin, which I did not know about.
I learned the basics and opened an account with Coinbase and Coins.co.th and asked clients to make payments in Bitcoin or Ethereum. I learned how to transfer Bitcoins between the two accounts and how to withdraw money directly to my bank accounts.
I can't say it was easy at first, but I am glad now that I took the time to learn how to use these cryptocurrencies. Transfers are very fast and with minimum fee compared to what I would pay with PayPal or a bank wire. The next step was to learn trading and cryptocurrency investment.
Studying Bitcoin, everyone can see what a good opportunity we missed to invest in it 5 years ago when the cost was less than $1. I remember coming across a video of a live event with a speaker explaining that Bitcoin was going to be the digital money of the future. Unfortunately I didn't have any interest at the time and forgot about it. Now Bitcoin is at $1,250 and certainly is the best investment some people have ever made.
